A recognized 501c3 charitable foundation, our foundation and the generous contributions of our benefactor provide document based exhibits presenting an autograph collection of our favorite celebrities – our founders – including the signatures of John Hancock, Sam Adams, John Adams, and additional signers of the declaration of independence and our constitution on documents of various interests and significance. Additional artifacts and exhibitions provide insight and education on the life and times of our founders, our history and the contributions that led to the formation of our great country. Original newspapers from the era adorn our corridors and share history often forgotten in our history books. Whether strolling our museum and corridors with your favorite libation or providing our future generations with a tangible experience that supports their learning of our history at home and school, the museum at GDT&M makes for a fantastic visit with, or independent of, a terrific meal.
The waitress and manager we're above and beyond excellent. Outstanding food and wonderful atmosphere
Been here a handful of times and tried a few different items on the menu like the lobster mac n' cheese, the lobster roll, the flatbreads, tomato soup and grilled cheese and the french dip sandwich. All were very delicious, as well as the wine!
Came here for dinner with 4 kids ages 3 to 9 and 4 adults and really enjoyed it. Good food, very tasty lobster roll (go for the warm option, amazing) and shepard's pie! Kids menu was great as well.
Fantastic venue and excellent food!
Great friendly service! Food is also very good - went twice during our stay in Carlsbad! Enjoyed our time and enjoyed the historic records they have on the revolutionary war!
